SALOMEA, a German-American jazz electronica band, have dropped their defiant new single, ‘Eriqua’. It’s a punchy hit of groove, that distinctively combines hip-hop, R&B and jazz influences into something wrapped in electronics and delivered with deeply honest vocals and spoken word resting on top. ‘Eriqua’ is “based on a real person, real events and is a coming of age 2.0. For all those seeking to break free from psychological manipulation by embracing their differences and owning the change and growth that only comes with time.” The track is completed by a futuristic, almost dystopian music video set in the countryside.
